Doris is one of the Donkeys we recently removed from a pet store, very soon we noticed health symptoms and they had to be treated before they caused more serious problems.
He had surgery yesterday and a mass attached to his left testicle was removed which looked like a big wound that wouldn't heal and lately with the heat he's been having a huge problem with insects.
With the special care he is receiving, he will soon be able to join one of our groups so that he can enjoy a well-deserved rest.
We currently have 15 Horses under our care who reside at our Base in small groups. Each animal receives the best possible care, provided by dedicated and skilled volunteers.
